Application Process

External students to apply on-line through this website.
Deadline is Friday the 13th of March, 2020 for external candidates
  Interviews will start - (tbc)

Applications for admission to the sixth form from those pupils joining the academy from other schools/academies must include acceptable evidence that they meet the published academic entry criteria.

The academy reserves the right to take steps to independently verify the authenticity of evidence provided and take action where fraudulent applications are made.

The published admission number (PAN) for external students being admitted to the sixth form in 2018/19 is 15.

Pupils who are permanently excluded from Cranford Community College are not eligible for re-admission to the academy at any point.

The minimum entry requirements table above sets out the minimum academic standards normally required for entry into the sixth form. The minimum entry requirements are those that are published and current at the time of admission. The minimum standard is the same for internal or external students.

Once this minimum standard has been met, applications are prioritised in accordance with the School Admissions Code and the academy’s published admissions policy. Students are already on roll are not required to apply again for a place but will need to complete some essential paperwork. If they meet the minimum academic entry/progression requirements including those set out in the above table, students already on roll will transfer automatically into the sixth form.

Students who already on roll will be removed from roll if they do not meet any minimum academic requirements for progression/entry to the sixth form, they have ben permanently excluded or where they choose to leave the academy after Year 11 for other education, employment or training.
